Japanese call this style of bread "agepan" . it means fried bread.
Cut the white bread and fried with oil. Then sprinkled sugar or cinamon suger or kinako or something you like.
I used to eat "agepan " as school lunch when I went to elementary school.
いわゆる揚げパンです。食パンをカットして油で揚げました。シナモンシュガーや粉砂糖などを好みでまぶしてください。
小学生のころ、よく揚げパンを学校給食で食べました。懐かしい味でした^^

Hi, I'm from Singapore. Just found your English blog. I'm dumbfounded by all your gorgeous bento designs! Great job!
I'm also a mother of 3. Recently I'm trying to pack food for my kids to bring to school. May I know how do you prevent cooked food from turning bad? Once I packed fried rice for my son. When he ate it 3 hours later, the food has gone bad. Maybe I had packed it in when it was still hot.
Also, if I intend to pack sushi (non-raw ingredients) for the kids, will it turn bad after 3 hours? Now I only dare to let them bring bread. Hope to learn more about bento from you. :)
@Hi KWF,thanks for your comment and following me on Facebook. I've heard fried rice gets to be worse easily than other rice.Did you get refrigerant already?
Hi Maki, I haven't get that yet. May drop by Daiso one of these days to see what I can get. I'm thinking of getting a bento bag too.
@KWF, refrigerant and bento bag is useful and recomend to use it^^
